These seed starter pots are shallow. They will work great for starting seeds that require a small planting depth from a 1/4 to 1/2 inch such as some flower seeds.
Transplant your seedling from a peat pot to the garden
Once a seedling is about 3-4 inches tall and has its' second set of leaves, you can transplant it to the garden so the roots and plant have room to grow.
How to separate seedlings
If you get both seeds to sprout in a peat pot, you will want to separate the two seedlings so that they will have room to grow in the garden. See how to easily separate the seedlings.
