Bring the whole family because there is a lot to see and do at the farm during October!
PLUMPKIN PLAYLAND
What do you do when you have 750 bales of straw and 2,500 pounds of lima beans? If you’re the
folks at the Clayton Valley Pumpkin Farm and Christmas Trees, you build a Tunnel of Straw and fill
a big “pot.”
Each year, the Farm creates tunnels of straw
for visitors of all ages to play in. Beware; it’s
dark inside the maze of tunnels. Don’t get lost!
Outside of the tunnel, the ton of lima beans is
placed in a large pot. It’s like playing at the
beach without the grit of the sand. No sand in
the shoes, no sand in the hair.
The Plumpkin Playland also includes the Farmer's Phonebooth (drop your cell phones, and talk to
one another the old-fashioned way, through giant tubes!), a giant tic-tac-toe board, horseshoe
game, bean bag toss, pyramid of straw, the "Ball Return" and more.
Unlimited Play Admission is $6.00 per child, FREE for Adults (ages 18 and older) and FREE for
infants (12 months and younger).
Coming back several times? The Kids Playland Fun Pass is for you! 8 Child entries for $42.00.
Available for purchase at the front desk.
FAMILY SPECIAL
Buying lots of pumpkins? The Family Special is for you! When you purchase $50.00 or more in
just pumpkins, you receive a FREE orange pumpkin up to $8. Details available at the front desk.
"PUMPKIN FARM" EXPRESS
Want to ride a train? Come to the Farm and ride the "Pumpkin Farm" Express around our gardens
and through a tunnel. The train is available on weekdays after 3pm and all day on Saturdays and
Sundays during October. Train closes at dusk.
Train tickets cost $2.50 per person (12 months and older).
Are you a frequent train rider? Purchase A Season
Multi-Pass! 12 train rides for $25.00

DUCK RACES
Challenge your family and friends at the Duck Races!
Purchase a duck to keep for $3.00 each and enjoy
unlimited racing (time may be monitored due to large
crowds) by pumping water through a trough to move
your duck to the other side.
FAMILY FARM MAP QUEST
Learn about the Farm while having fun. Ask for a map and clues at the entrance to the Plumpkin
Playland. The clues will lead you to secret letters that spell a magic word. This activity is free!
OUR FAMILY
Come and meet the other members of our family. We also have various “friends” visit during
October. And bring your quarters if you want to feed us through the "Goat Tube".

PLUMPKINS™
The Plumpkins™ have been a major part of
our family for years. Rollin, Penelopie and
Little Carver work in the Secret Valley to get
the Farm ready for October. During October,
Rollin A. Plumpkin is a regular visitor. Rollin
shows up on weekends to “wave” hello to
visitors at the Farm when he is not busy
performing his “Harvest Magic.”
COLORING CONTEST
Pick up a coloring contest sheet at the Farm on your next visit. All entries need to be received at
the Farm by Wednesday, October 28th by 5:00pm. On Friday, October 30, each winner will be
invited to fill TWO pumpkin carts with as many pumpkins as the carts will hold, PLUS receive a
Clayton Valley Pumpkin Farm Coloring book.
Multiple winners in various age groups are selected. So have fun and good luck!
